The forecast called for rain but it turned out to be a pleasantly warm, overcast morning. The group of 25 adventurers gathered at the frog pond in Hubbard Park. The kids (and a couple adults) played around the pond by finding sticks and throwing rocks in the pond. Then the group headed up the trail for the fire tower. Upon arriving, everyone chose how far up the tower they wanted to go. For those that made it to the top the warm breeze was refreshing. The group played on and around the tower for a while and then everyone headed home.
